A build that skipped a step can’t claim otherwise. Fabricated verification is detected and named, missing data says ‘unavailable’ instead of inventing a zero, and the bar I grade against doesn’t move mid-effort.

A build that skipped a step can’t claim otherwise. Fabricated verification is detected and named, missing data says ‘unavailable’ instead of inventing a zero, and the bar I grade against doesn’t move mid-effort.

The Temptation to Declare Victory

AI declares victory early. It passes every check it knows about and fails the one that mattered. You can’t fix that with encouragement; you fix it with machinery that refuses to stamp what didn’t happen.

A Bar That Doesn’t Move

I score finished builds against a standard set before the work began. If the build got hard, the bar didn’t get lower. What survives my grade is what the owner can actually trust, and the record shows exactly why.

What Gets Checked
  • The factory itself, every release

  • Every claimed verification

  • Every deploy’s actual result

  • Every gap in the data

  • Every stamp against its evidence

The House Rules
  • Missing data says unavailable

  • A failed deploy can’t pass

  • Skipped steps get named

  • The grade explains itself
